House Rules

Being in the hair and fashion industry we have figured out what works and what doesn’t work. We have come up with some guidelines to make sure you get the best experience.

• We discourage the use of mobile phones and respectfully request that they are on silent ring when you are in the salon.
• All appointments are booked for the time you need and so we ask you to arrive promptly. If you arrive late we will do our best to keep to the treatments arranged. However, because we do not want to keep anyone waiting we may have to shorten/change your appointment if your stylist or nail technician has another client immediately after you.

Why do I need a skin test? I have my hair coloured all of the time.

At Rock‘n’Dolls we insist on the following rules and regulations of the manufacturers that supply our colour for the safety and well being of our guests. It is very rare for a reaction to occur but if it does it can be very severe and can even cause hospitalisation. This is a risk we are not willing to take.

Even if someone has been having their hair coloured for years the ingredients in colour products differ and change and therefore skin testing is essential. We may also need to perform a skin test if you have not had a colour appointment with us or visited us in the past six months.

What is your policy on cancellations?

Should you need to change or cancel an appointment, we would only ask that if possible, you give us 24 hours notice. We do require 24 hours notice of any changes or cancellations to your appointments. Any cancellations after this time will incur a 100% fee. If any appointment is missed without prior notification, a 100% no show fee will be incurred.

Why do you ask us to put mobiles on silent?

In order for us to meet your expectations we need to understand what you like, and dislike, what you want, and what you don’t want. By having your undivided attention we can help you switch off, relax and be in the moment. That alone makes it a pleasant experience and lets us focus on your needs.

What products do you use?

We use products that are environmentally friendly and quality products that are scientifically engineered to work, and express our distinctive style and spirit. Quality to use means having the freedom to use the best products with attention and respect for our environment, using high grade, natural ingredients, and applying scientific rigour to every product to guarantee our customers’ safety. Quality is also intended by all of us, by our partners and consumers as quality of life.

Our hair product is born from intuition and is processed with an artisan spirit using the most advanced cosmetic technologies.

The formulations favour the use of ingredients of natural origin, are generated with renewable electric energy and packaged minimising the environmental impact, inspired by the ideal of Sustainable Beauty as an inseparable unity between Beauty and Good.

All our hair colour products are vegan and carbon neutral base.
